About Ryan McLaughlin

Ryan McLaughlin is a longtime Bangor Daily News writer who is just as passionate about sports as he is keeping the people of Maine fit and healthy as a fitness trainer at Union Street Athletics in Bangor. Ryan's passion for sports started when he was very young and he turned that into a successful career in cross country and track at Brewer High School. Ryan is a former New England Patriots season ticket holder and his wife has been a UMaine hockey season ticket holder since 1994. When he's not training clients or writing, Ryan enjoys golf, hockey, obstacle course racing and traveling.
